7) Disclosure of Data for Law Enforcement

7.1 Registration for our email newsletter
If you sign up for our email newsletter, we will send you regular information about our offers. The only information you need to provide to receive the newsletter is your email address. Any other data is provided voluntarily and will be used to address you personally. We use what is referred to as the double opt-in process to send you our newsletter. This means that we will send you an email newsletter only if you have provided us with express confirmation that you consent to receipt of the newsletter. We will then send you a confirmation email and ask you to click on a corresponding link to confirm that you want to receive the newsletter in future.
By clicking the confirmation link, you consent to use of your personal data in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1(a) GDPR. When you register for our newsletter, we store the IP address assigned to you by your internet service provider (ISP) and the time and date of registration to allow us to track any potential misuse of your email address. The data we store during newsletter registration is used solely for advertising communications via the newsletter. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link provided in the newsletter or by sending a message to that effect to the data controller indicated at the start. After unsubscribing, your email address will be deleted from our newsletter distribution list immediately – unless you have expressly consented to any other use of your data, or we have reserved the right to use the data for any other purpose permitted by law and notified in this policy.

7.2 Newsletter dispatch via MailChimp
Our email newsletter is sent via the technical service provider The Rocket Science Group, LLC d/b/a MailChimp, 675 Ponce de Leon Ave NE, Suite 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA (http://www.mailchimp.com/), with which we share the data you provided when registering for the newsletter. This data is shared in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1(a,f) GDPR on the basis of your consent to receive the newsletter and serves our legitimate interest in the use of an effective promotional, secure, and user-friendly newsletter system. Please note that your data is generally transmitted to a MailChimp server in the USA and stored there.
MailChimp uses this information to send the newsletter and to perform statistical analysis on our behalf. For the purposes of analysis, the emails sent contain what are referred to as web beacons or tracking pixels: these are one-pixel image files that are saved on our website. These can deliver insight into whether a newsletter message has been opened and which links, where applicable, have been clicked. MailChimp uses web beacons as an automated means of generating general, non-personal statistics relating to the response to newsletter campaigns. Based on our legitimate interest in the statistical analysis of newsletter campaigns for the purposes of optimizing promotional communications and better aligning these to recipient interests, web beacons are also used in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1(f) GDPR to record and utilize data relating to the newsletter recipient (email address, time of access, IP address, browser type and operating system). This data enables conclusions to be drawn with regard to the individual behavior of a newsletter recipient, and is processed by MailChimp for the automated generation of statistics that indicate whether a specific recipient has opened a newsletter message.
If you would like to disable data analysis for statistical analysis purposes, you must unsubscribe from the newsletter.
Under Art. 6 para. 1(f) GDPR, MailChimp can use this data itself based on its own legitimate interest in the customization and optimization of the service and for market research purposes; for instance, to determine the country of origin of recipients. MailChimp does not use data belonging to our newsletter recipients to approach them itself nor does it share this with third parties.
To protect your data in the USA, we have concluded a data processing agreement with MailChimp based on the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission, enabling the transmission of your personal data to MailChimp. You can view this data processing agreement at the following web address: https://mailchimp.com/legal/data-processing-addendum/
MailChimp’s privacy terms can be viewed here: https://mailchimp.com/legal/privacy/

7.3 Advertising by mail
Based on our legitimate interest in personalized direct advertising, we reserve the right under Art. 6 para. 1(f) GDPR to store your first and second name, your postal address and – insofar as we have received this additional information from you during the contractual relationship – your title, academic degree, your year of birth and your job title, sector or business description, and to use this data to send you interesting offers and information about our products by post.
You can object to storage and use of your data for this purpose at any time by sending a message to the data controller to this effect.

8) Processing of Data for the Purpose of Order Handling

The personal data collected by us will be passed on to the transport company commissioned with the delivery within the scope of contract processing, insofar as this is necessary for the delivery of the goods. We will pass on your payment data to the commissioned credit institution within the framework of payment processing, if this is necessary for payment handling. If payment service providers are used, we explicitly inform you of this below.

9) Use of Videos

9.1 Use of Vimeo Videos

On our website, plugins of the video portal Vimeo of Vimeo, LLC, 555 West 18th Street, New York, New York 10011, USA are embedded. When you access a page of our website that contains such a plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection to Vimeo's servers. The content of the plugin is transmitted by Vimeo directly to your browser and integrated into the page. Through this integration, Vimeo receives the information that your browser has called up the corresponding page of our website, even if you do not have a Vimeo account or are not currently logged in to Vimeo. This information (including your IP address) is transmitted directly from your browser to a Vimeo server in the USA and stored there.

If you are logged in to Vimeo, Vimeo can immediately assign your visit of our website to your Vimeo account. If you interact with the plugins (e.g. pressing the start button of a video), this information is also transmitted directly to a Vimeo server and stored there.

If you do not want Vimeo to assign the data collected via our website directly to your Vimeo account, you must log out of Vimeo before visiting our website.

The purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Vimeo as well as your related rights and privacy settings can be found in Vimeo's privacy policy: https://vimeo.com/privacy

9.2 Use of YouTube Videos

This website uses the YouTube embedding function for display and playback of videos offered by the provider YouTube, headquartered in 901 Cherry Avenue San Bruno. California. United States.
To this end, the extended data protection mode is used to ensure, according to provider information, that user information will only be stored once the playback function of the video is started. When the playback of embedded YouTube videos is started, the provider sets "YouTube" cookies in order to collect information about user behavior. According to indications from YouTube, the use of those cookies is intended, among other things, to record video statistics, to improve user-friendliness and to avoid improper actions. If you are logged in to Google, your information will be directly associated with your account when you click on a video. If you do not wish to be associated with your profile on YouTube, you must log out before activating the button. Google saves your data (even for users who are not logged in) as usage profiles and evaluates them.
Regardless of whether the embedded video is played back, a connection to the Google network "double click" is established when visiting this website. This may trigger further data processing beyond our control.
Further information on YouTube's privacy policy can be found in the provider's data protection declaration at: www.google.com/policies/privacy/.
